Let's be honest. America has had Iran in the crosshairs since the hostage humiliation. It was just a matter of time.
Let America do all the work. They don't need anyone else to carry out this sort of operation. They would just get in the way. British personnel won't get involved directly and those that might do on the periphery are getting paid to do what they signed up for. They ain't conscripts.

Hopefully it will be over sooner rather than later and the world will have one less problem.

I don't think they would be too worried about Killing British Muslims. They killed loads of their own. They are more likely to drop one on Israel.

It's not about America though is it.

I guess we just have to go fingers crossed and hope for as little blowback as possible.

Before they next turn their attention to Turkey and Qatar....which no doubt I'll be expected to cheer-lead for.

I just want to sit here and eat biscuits, without these psycho elites setting everything on fire.

Can they break down the low block? Chucking missiles over the top seems a limited strategy at best. Red flags at Selhurst would be awesome though.

In all seriousness though Iran has been preparing for this weekend for decades. The command structure is likely spread across the country and even unlimited bombing from Israel even with its years of intelligence gathering won't remove it all.

They will have all sorts of responses, planned years in advance, to try and cause maximum damage to the US and Israel in return. I definitely agree with the poster who said the water desalination plants will be targets. The bases obvs. Iran has one of the most highly developed drone infrastructure in the world, I do think the US deep state has bitten off more than they can chew here, even if it will be Israel that bears the brunt of the retaliation. IF they manage to succeed with regime change (define that) I think it will come at a great cost to all sides.

What a time to be alive and draw Larnaca in Europe.

Iran can only make a nuisance of themselves for a limited period. They will be overwhelmed by a vastly superior force with huge resources.
Once the Americans have established complete air superiority, there is nothing to stop them destroying any military sites and infrastructure. Then they can land troops to take out any resistance on the ground.

All but the most loyal Republican Guard will probably surrender knowing their fate is inevitable.

You heard it here.

This is assuming they don't enlist outside help of course. Israel has plenty of enemies with good reason not to watch them succeed here. And if course Iran has helped Russia continually to defend itself, they may feel obliged to return the favour in the face of this.

I don't see it playing out quite as smoothly as you have painted, but I'm only an ex serviceman with limited knowledge of anything. Maybe you know better, you certainly imply you do if you don't mind me saying.

Yeah, because Russia are so good it. They can't even win the war they are already in.
They won't get involved for the same reason that the US doesn't get involved in Ukraine.

Nothing goes smoothly in war. You obviously know that better that I. But you know where this is heading, smoothly or not.
