Ipswich Predictions.

Nketiah just needs to join the party but I’m sure it will soon click for him. Crazy as it sounds, he just needs to practice aiming to the side of the keeper and not aimlessly swinging his lack hard in the general direction.
You have much more faith in him than I do. Perhaps against Stockport.

Unfortunately, he is not the only one. Palace have had as many shots as Arsenal and more than Chelsea and our goals against is the best of any team from 12th place down but we are where we are

Genuinely massive game. We've come through a difficult mini run with only a single defeat but we simply have to start beating the other 'non-elite' teams. Defeats to Brentford, West Ham, Everton, Forest and Fulham plus draws with Wolves and Leicester is poor and the reason we are where we are.

Ipswich are no mugs but I've seen enough positive signs to think we can turn a corner here, especially as we're getting closer to our strongest X1. I'll go 2-1 to Palace with Eze returning to form with a screamer.

I'm getting splinters in my behind with this prediction but I'm going for a nervy but exciting 1-1 draw.
Lacroix for us and Delap for them.

Whilst I am sure we will eventually win another game in the 2024/2025 season, I have given up thinking that it has got to happen soon. I went to the Newcastle game with much optimism, particularly as were nearly back to full strength. But as we all know, we just about scraped a draw against a very average side.

I will be watching tonight courtesy of Amazon Prime and expect another draw after having taken the lead at some point 😵

There was a suggestion on HOL that we need to appoint a 'Set-Piece' coach, I assume solely responsible for this aspect of play.
I am informed that at Ipswich, Mark Hudson performs this role.
I'm fairly sure we have a set piece coach Glasner brought with him - if not two. We defend corners more successfully now (though I'm not sure Fulham do - just for the sake of a little heresy)

Wouldn't 'the Palace way' be to provoke despair losing ineptly at Ipswich and them from nowhere get all the points against Citeh?
Exactly that really. But let's hope we can be a bit different and win both.
Another obvious Palace trait would be for us to end Man City's bad run. Any team or player "without something" seems to always get that something against us.
We need to watch out for defenders who have never scored in 250 games, forwards who have no goals for the season or the midfielder who last scored against us three years ago and hasn't looked like scoring since.
