At this stage of the season we don't know how quickly the squad will settle into playing how Sage wants. I'm confident we'll score but not at all confident that we'll keep a clean sheet. Having conceded at least 2 goals in our last 9 PL games is a concern. I'm hoping we'll buck the trend and concede no more than 1 this time (a clean sheet would be marvellous).

I'll hazard a guess at a 3-1 win for us.

Will be close as Ipswich have looked ok, Encisco for them up front is the danger with Jack Clarke running out wide. The trouble for them is which 11 will we go with. This side looks totally different to the one they played 2 seasons back.

They are not the best at the back as well, if we can keep it tight in defence I can see us winning 2-1

I believe Ipswich signed 14 players in the 'Window' at a cost of approximately £180 Mill.
Ipswich signed 2 players from Strasbourg for a total of about 47 Mill, Enciso and Ouattara and they were at the club alongside Chilwell.
Ipswich keeper Scherpen was signed from Union Saint-Gilloise and he was there when Khalaili was at the club.

I think confidence is a helluva drug, and we should have that at the moment. I expect us to continue to put the ball in the back of the net. Still concerned about the back line. Will take a point, but I'm hoping something along the lines of 2-1 or 3-2 Palace.

There's alot of PL points sitting out there to be had between now and November. Need to capitalize as much as possible, especially before things ramp up in December and Europe goes full tilt.

Admiring the optimism on show. Personally I wasn't that confident of a win when we were 3 up with a minute to play against Middlesbrough's reserves. It's being so cheery that keeps me going.
