v Sunderland. Late penalty not given, foot left into the challenge.
View attachment 1997

There were two possible penalties and the commentators thought both were penalties. I believe the phrase used was something like the old adage "it's a foul anywhere else on the pitch".
One thing that stifled us was the constant kicking and pushing of our front three. Niggle after niggle - none given. When we niggled back, it felt like they were given immediately and without question.

I thought the ref vs Millwall was excellent and let the firm but fair tackles go, and it led to a good game.

I've updated now to include West Ham away. The only thing was not giving us a penalty for Pino's shot blocked with the raised arm by Walker-Peters in the first half. Now, I would normally ignore this but LIVERPOOL were awarded a last minute penalty vs Burnley for a near identical incident in the previous round.

Referee for the Liverpool Match on Saturday is Chris Kavanagh, he of the famous handball incident in favour of Chelski when Jordan Ayew won the ball, and the newly promoted Matt Donahue on VAR. Both are Manchester FA officials ie based about 30 miles from Liverpool. By way of reference the nearest EPL referee to the South London Side is Tim Robinson, the West Sussex referee based over 40 miles away as the seagull flies.

Look forward to being first on MOTD with the ‘experts’ ignoring all the controversial decisions against the home team.

Technical Note: The name of the home team is not mentioned as it is irrelevant to the broadcasters. However mention will be made of any outstanding player and their manager with reference to the teams they will be joining in the next two transfer windows.

Handball. So obvious.

No arguement but why does Salah look like something out of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

It's the only video of it available because MotD decided not to even show it. It's a distance camera view expanded. Better pictures please post, either way, he touched it the cheat.

The match commentators suggested that Salah raised his arm in reaction to having his shirt pulled by Lacroix. It's a point but not a strong enough one.

Likewise, I was in the away end at Bristol City when Sears' goal was disallowed.
😡
I was there for the Sears goal and wrote to Bristol City after the game suggesting their players might like to donate any win bonuses to charity given the circumstances. Everyone in the ground apart from the ref knew what had happened, including all of their players. The reply was remarkable, I’m banned for life.
Only been there twice since.

On the risk reward scale getting banned from Ashton Gate is a small price to pay for pointing out their cheating ways. Well done for doing it.

I thought I had updated this but it looks like the changes weren't saved. Anyway, I have now. On Salisbury's performance v Everton, here's something to back it up.

Was baffling.

Interesting comments from Taylor about abuse refs get, impact on families etc and fans expecting perfection. I understand that and there is a line.

However I think they should be open to criticism. That yellow card by Salisbury was appalling refereeing, that isn’t asking for perfection, that is understanding the game and the basics of tackling

When I made that tackle I said "Great tackle, Wharton is class" and the ref blew, then actually booked him.

A four funnelled ocean going pillock

I did this last season up and it was racked up quickly with episodes of cheating and bias against us. I will be unashamedly PALACE in this, however will concede if we've robbed anyone too. It shall include ALL of our encounters with links to detailed posts for evidencing. If you can help please post for me to include.

Current points balance: -4

1. Community Shield. Liverpool (Wembley) 2-2. Ref Chris Kavanagh, VAR Paul Tierney.
Injustice: BIAS. Alexis MacAllister clear handball late in the game, waved away by Kavanagh and dismissed by VAR
Injustice: BIAS. Alisson off his line for penalty save vs Eze
Outcome: Went to penalties, which we won anyway.

2. UEFA. I don't need to add more on this.
Outcome: Huge impact on transfers, club income and status.

3. Premier League game 1. Chelsea (a). 0-0. Ref Darren England, VAR James Bell.
Injustice: BIAS. 13th minute Eze freekick disallowed.
Explanation: In 2019, when the law was changed to state that attackers must be at least one metre away from a defensive wall of three or more players. After 2,286 Premier League games, and many others in top-level European competition, not once had the VAR stepped in to implement this law.

Injustice: BIAS No penalty given for foul.
Explanation: Late in the game Robert Sanchez punched Marc Guehi in the back of the head attempting to clear the ball from a corner kick, knocking him down injured. The referee and VAR waved it away.

Outcome: Points lost = 2

4. UEFA Conference playoff. Frederickstad (h). 0-0. Ref Tryfon Petropoulos (GRE), VAR Konstantinos Poulikidis (GRE).

5.
Premier League game 2. Forest (h). 1-1. Ref Anthony Taylor, VAR Paul Tierney.

6.
UEFA Conference playoff. Frederickstad (a). 0-0. Ref Kristo Tohver (EST), VAR Sören Storks (GER).

7.
Premier League game 3. Aston Villa (a). 0-3. Ref Stuart Attwell, VAR Peter Bankes.

8. Premier League game 4. Sunderland (h). 0-0. Ref Thomas Bramall, VAR Tim Robinson.
Injustice:
BIAS. General giving of fouls for anytime a Sunderland player fell over whilst ignoring the numerous fouling of JP and others. Eg booked Munoz in the 11th minute for his first foul which was innocuous and minor where Sunderland were not on the break. Late in the game he stopped play whilst we were attacking so that a timewasting Sunderland player could receive treatment for cramp. It was not a head injury.
Injustice: BIAS No penalty given for foul.
Explanation: Late in the game Wilson Isidor left his foot in on a strike by Christatus Uche, injuring him. Would've been a foul anywhere else on the pitch. The referee and VAR waved it away.

Outcome: Points lost = 2

9. League Cup 3rd Round. Millwall (h). 1-1. Ref John Busby, No VAR
Refereed superbly.

10. Premier League game 5. West Ham (a) 1-2. Ref Tony Harrington, VAR Nick Hopton.
Injustice: Inconsistency. Failed to give a penalty for Walker-Peters blocking the shot of Yeremy Pino in the first half. This was extremely similar to the late penalty that LiVARpool were awarded against Burnley the previous round.
Outcome: No change, we won.

11.
Premier League game 6. LiVARpool (h) 2-1. Ref Chris Kavanagh, VAR Matt Donohue.
Injustice: LiVARpool cheats. Did not rule out the clear handball from Salah which led to the goal. The laws state that any touch by an attacking player means the goal is ruled out. THANK GOD that the offsides are done by computer now because those BASTARDS would've scratched our winner off.
Outcome: No change, we won.

12. UEFA Conference League game 1. Dynamo Kiev (a) 0-2. Ref Lothar D'Hondt, VAR Jan Boterberg (Belgium).

13. Premier League game 7. Everton (a) 2-1. Ref Michael Salisbury, VAR Craig Pawson.
Injustice: Scouse BIAS. A shocking performance of bias from Salisbury. Constantly penalising us and giving them fouls, even for some good tackles. Wharton on the receiving end the most even getting a yellow card for one of the best tackles of the game - he was bewildered at the number he was penalised for. Salisbury was Evertons best central midfielder, breaking up Palace attacks and putting Everton on the attack multiple times.
Outcome: Hard to say, we missed a lot of chances, but not unreasonable to say that he helped them to a win.
Add this to your list. What a f***ing surprise, the “ big Clubs” have voted for this. Where was their support for us? Still hopefully the Fat Greek is in for a big fall

Unashamed corruption. I cannot fathom how leaders in organisations actually behave like this. They WILL HAVE KNOWN they would change the date but have too much ego to do the right thing.
