Immigration

As I have said many times on here, the French never attempted to stop this or take people back, even when we were in the EU

Which is negligence and we (the Tories) could've done something about it, but didn't, aside leave, which makes it far harder to do something about it.

Our grandchildren will reap the result of the insanity of here today, gone tomorrow politicians.

Our grandchildren will reap the result of the insanity

Brits are having less grandchildren than ever before. Especially Brits with good jobs. Cos they are well paid, often a double income, and yet they cannot afford the simple house. Not even in Croydon. A house that their ancestors bought on a single blue-collar income only a hundred years ago.

Unaffordable housing......goes hand in glove with the title of the OP.

Wow!!

Time to smash the gangs, Keir??

Total fiction made up to encourage a break. The UK was one of the three power brokers within the bloc and we got a huge amount of leverage in spite of ukip MEPs undermining everything
It's true that the major parties lied to the British people about joining the Common Market and then co-operated with the rest of the countries to create the EU. However the public were never asked they just did it.

Many years after he retired Ted heath admitted that the plan was to create a political union and that the Common Market was just the first stage of this. People like Tony Benn pointed this out in 1973 and it was denied by the pro lobby.

And after we joined there were 9 countries in total not 27 of whom 9 are net contributors.
