I was shocked to find out earlier today that we did a deal with the Spanish that they control who goes in or out of Gibraltar!!

So you or I as British citizens could be stopped but 60,000 Moroccans could theoretically be allowed in!!

I bet the Gibraltese are sh1tting themselves at this prospect!!

I think they had to and hopefully when the EU bureaucrats tell them to restore it, they will tell the to f*** off. Still there will be some living here who would welcome all those impoverished Moroccan refugees with open arms. Well they may need to if they get to mainland Europe.
Could be the end of Schengen imo

The Moroccan government is playing games. They have wanted that enclave for decades and many would say they are right. So they kill 2 birds with one stone.

Get rid of a load of young men who may or may not be Moroccan and put pressure on th Spanish government.

I wonder how many Spanish are now thinking if we hand that over to Morocco our problem goes away.

Immigration works if the people want to assimilate into the existing culture, if they don't then they will attempt to transition the culture into their own.

And well meaning people will help them along the way.

Even then it doesn't really work. Differences in race, religion, history and culture are at the roots of most conflicts around the world.

Human beings will always find a reason for conflict - just look at local rivalries in football. We’re inherently tribal in our nature.

Immigration worked in the US and Canada until recently. When they started making exceptions and providing and excessive amount of assistance it has struggled since.

Most wars are because neighbors hate each other, primarily because most nations cannot force project across the globe.

You think different races get on well in the USA?
You think English speaking and French speaking Canadians get on without any problems?
Most wars are because of differences in race, language, religion, history and culture.
Why do the Left think we are immune from these problems in the UK.
