Unless you want several years on jail on a charge of perjury, you are on oath I worked in legal matters for a number of years, attended courts and tribunals. In summation only the very stupid lie in court , I assume you would.

What nice person you are. I very much doubt only the stupid lie in court, how many who have been caught out lying are charged with perjury? Very few I suspect.

The number of perjury convictions each year in the UK is ten or less in recent times.

You worked in legal matters? Baliff?

There are many convictions each year for perverting the course of justice which will often include lying in the offence.
