I assumed they had suspects in custody, if not, they should issue descriptions and any other identifiers, speaking a forteign language for example. Is there street CCTV in Epsom?

If they are not in custody, then it's even more important that the public have a description.7

If the victim didn't see faces, then she might have been able to describe heights and sizes of the attackers. Also the clothes they were wearing.

A few years ago in my village of Merstham; a lady claimed to have been gang raped. She said that one of them spoke with a foreign accent .

The case went cold due to what the police said lack of evidence. Whether that meant evidence of the actual attack or evidence to catch anyone. I'm not 100 percent sure.

So we can never be sure about these things.

What I am sure about, is the police are holding back information of the attackers.

I've seen seen that there have been no arrests apparently

The best way to avoid speculation is to issue a description. I don’t believe they can’t say for example ‘the suspects are white / black / Asian men’.
They obviously won’t be able to publish their nationality etc as no one has been caught.
As we all know the police can track people almost everywhere across London on CCTV.
The longer they give out no information at all the greater the suspicion they are deliberately holding information back.

I imagine that plain clothes detectives are investigating it.

I find it amazing (not really) that the police have not been able to even tell us a piece of clothing the attackers were wearing.
They care more about political correctness than people's safety.

Why are the protesters right wing and what does that have to do with it.

These are people angry, because due to political correctness, police will not issue a description of the alleged attackers. Many may have been thinking it could have been their daughter.

Things like that tend to upset people; not just those on the right of politics.

The protests that followed the death of Sarah Everard were in the main by women's rights groups. I don't recall it being immigrant inspired.

However, it seems one race riot is understandable but another isn't. Let's have a guess how that works.
