Unless the “Tiger King” was actually an illegal immigrant or a closet Pakistani he wasn’t. The Irish guy probably was.Does that include illegals and Pakistani groomers ?

Anybody who can't see that is just being conned and having their good intentions abused by cheats.

Doesn’t surprise me, you will find I have said many times on here that the Dublin Convention was very rarely implemented, despite some on here not believing it.Dublin III Failings: Just 2 % of Asylum Applicants Ordered to Transfer Are Actually Sent to Other EU States Dublin III Failings: Just 2 % of Asylum Applicants Ordered to Transfer Are Actually Sent to Other EU States
Here's how the EU rules are implemented.

Eligibility needs to be changed, drastically. You have to think there is widespread abuse of the system here too. As my understanding is that there is no immediate entitlement to benefits. Well, there wouldn't be for me and you anyway.
Perhaps Jim ratcliffe had a point 🤷♂️

The best I saw was the Hounslow Halal meat plant. Which was a back yard car park near the shopping center. You couldn't make it up.

I guess it depends on what is regarded as “benefits”. Whilst people cannot work they still need to live and that means it will cost us.Eligibility needs to be changed, drastically. What I do wonder is - are the eligibility criteria waived for Refugees/ Asylum seekers? I know they are in Ireland and suspect they are in the UK too. Once an Asylum seeker gets leave to stay and work in Ireland, they get Jobseekers Allowance. Although they often remain in free accommodation with free food and bills. In fact, by often read - nearly always.

When the alternatives are either impractical or worse there isn’t any other realistic option.
It is though a great headline for the right wing media to toss to their lapdogs.
