After an interview on Sky this morning the truth about Anti Immigration protesters has been revealed. The broadcast was from Bournemouth a hotel housing immigrants has a couple of handfuls of people adorned in Union Jacks shouting and yelling. A woman was asked why is she protesting and the answer was she would like a shed load of new benefits and thinks that the immigrants are taking money that she would like. So the anti immigrant lobby is fuelled by greed and envy,with no higher level aspirations,all in all a very grubby lot.My neigbours tom cat has far higher morals.

So who has put into the pot? Her or the immigrants? If she is fearful of not getting benefits (or having them cut like Starmer has tried to do) yet uninvited guests get support (maybe more than her), why shouldn’t she complain. I didn’t see the interview, so am just responding to your comments.

It was plain that she was on benefits but wanted more. Greed is not a very attractive emotion especially when someone else has to suffer in order to sate it and like all scoundrels uses the flag to justify it.

well , i would happily cut the benefits from all........with the exception of the temporarily-unemployed (tax payers) and the very very sick. Both local AND newly arrived.

Would you be happy with that Comrade ? Cos countries with only modest handouts have a) affordable housing and b) kept their nation-State intact and free from a tsunami of immigration c) a fairness whereby those who work hard get a better life than scroungers.

Sky have found the best person to create a negative image of someone ‘anti immigration’ as you and I expect Sky have described her as, and this represents the 31% intending to vote Reform and growing by the day? It is this sort of attitude that’ll keep the opposition to this idiocy going, so carry on.

And for every ignorant ‘anti immigration’ scrounger there are many far left freaks who often don’t pay taxes either.

C'mon Beak you can do better than this. How many people did Sky interview before they got the one they wanted?

If I went to a Labour party conference I bet I could eventually find a loony lefty who wanted to abolish private property and elections. That is not representative of the majority of Labour voters though.

It sounds like this woman is a scumbag, unfortunately in this country we have a wide range of them and they cover the policial spectrum.

You were responding to one of my posts and I stand by my comments. If mainstream politicians continue to demonise people's genuine concerns eventually they will get what they most fear.

The immigrants ( two types legal and illegal) are an infentisimally small part of the Uk economy,I have never tried to "let my self down " and will be as honest as i can. My forefathers came to Britain nearly 400 years ago and enhanced Britain in a vast number of ways, Daphne Du Maurier was one and Laurence Olivier was another I can go on but I really don't like lengthy posts as they are really boring . Batting back the illegals for the legals is a wonderful idea.

Agreed. Perhaps it should be done per boatload rather than on an individual basis. Hence, 1000 crossed yesterday, so 1000 returned to France today. The UK then get to consider the genuine ones for acceptance. One in and one out is really quite pathetic.
