£49.18 per week in self catered accommodation or £8.86 per week where meals are provided doesn’t seem lavish to me. More basic.

They only receive this whilst an asylum claim is assessed.

What it would actually do is put more strain on the RNLI whose only purpose is saving lives at sea. Putting strain on them reduces their capacity to do their job. Which could threaten the lives of a few young girls.

3 meals a day, medical treatment, dental treatment , free driving lessons, music lessons, free trainers/ clothes , all the time living rent free in 4/5* hotels. After asylum claim is decided, do you believe they are left with nothing? Oh don’t forget the free legal representation. If that isn’t lavish I would like to know what your definition is

Hungary have the right idea. Load a fleet of buses with the immigrants and send them over to Brussels and let them deal with them.

We can cut foreign aid to these country's while we at at it too.

Here is a hotel near Gatwick, I drive past regularly, security on gate, lots of Middle Eastern makes walking around on mobile phones.

It’s cheap compared to the alternative. Can you imagine the mayhem that would result if we simply allowed them to arrive and disappear?

The homeless can access a lot of support, if they seek it. Including UC, shelter, food and help to reestablish themselves.
