Immigration

Just imagine what the outcome would be if we did try to return the illegal migrants to France. Do you seriously think they would just accept them? It would provoke a full blown crisis with the EU, just at the time when our relationship is improving and it’s essential it does. They could stop all the small boats leaving, put the migrants on bigger vessels and escort them to landing places they currently cannot reach.

The only way to deal with this is with international cooperation stopping the flow at source and rounding up the smugglers.
So what? We're not in the EU. Those illegals came from a EU country let them deal with it.

And using education, if your great grand children don't see a change to law-abiding behaviour, then they might become child sex-slaves for shopkeepers. How many generations of white women and children must become victims, before the problem is 'sorted'. ?
We have laws and a functioning democracy that ensures that kind of scenario remains just scaremongering nonsense.

If you seriously think we would ever see a government that permits those things to happen I don’t. It would require a majority of us to be prepared to accept such things. That’s never going to happen,

I am serious. The fact that we don't have a current crop of ministers who have the ability to do something is part of the problem
Is the southern border of the US more or less porous since Trump came to power?
You are seriously unrealistic! It’s very obviously totally impossible. You think things are bad now? Do what you suggest and they get much worse. Fortunately no politician in their right mind will contemplate actually doing it. That includes Farage. He might be a nasty piece of work but he’s not crazy.

The southern border of the USA is not comparable to our situation. France isn’t Mexico. We aren’t the USA.

Perhaps we could have someone on the South Coast explaining the rights that women have in this country rather than letting the migrants walk around our towns and cities with only the cultural beliefs of the country that have left to 'guide' them.
I have no doubt that everyone whose asylum claim is under process will receive plenty of information on how British society functions and what is expected of them. What ought to happen to them if they are convicted of any serious crime is a different matter. It ought to immediately mean their claim fails and deportation follows any time in prison.

Another success story for our cultural enrichment demonstrating the true strength of diversity.

Muslim arrives by lorry illegally
Granted asylum
Targets gays for robbery

Criminal gets caught. That’s news worth commenting on? It happens.

They transited through several EU countries. We, stupidly, aren’t in the EU at the moment but they remain, by far, our biggest trading partners. As well as many also being in NATO. The last thing we want, and should not even be talking about, is any kind of confrontation with France.

We need to build alliances that tackle these issues together. Not make the problem worse by playing blame games and trying to offload our problems.

If they've passed through several EU countries how does this cooperation help? They're not helping each much are they.
