Great day out and result, only slightly spoiled by the dozen who brought flares into the stadium. Learn from history, it's not clever and hopefully you were arrested and thrown out for this stupid act.
Bradford.webp

The fact they were all right at the front, and I didn't see them jumped on by a bunch of hairy arsed coppers and stewards, suggests to me the flare display was agreed with the stadium pre-game, as it wouldn't have been given without a risk assessment being conducted beforehand.

As for the terrible Bradford City tragedy...totally different circumstances there. The fire was caused by a lit fag end dropping between the wooden flooring slats of an old wooden stand landing on a pile of uncleared rubbish underneath.

Exactly this. Why not mention the fireworks pre match for every premier league game played, why not question the irresponsibility displayed here? Yes the Bradford fire was a massive tragedy but I simply don't see the connection.

Nonsense. There’s no way a flare can cause a fire hazard at Wembley. It’s made of concrete, not wood and hay. It’s harmless fun which adds to the atmosphere and helps fire up the crowd (no pun intended).

Flares are totally normal around European grounds and they go off week in week out with no incident.

Will happen again in the final for sure. If it upsets you, probably worth buying a ticket away from that section. I’m confident the majority of fans enjoy it.

I suggest you don’t watch any videos of the Legia fans away at Chelsea the other week.

We Yanks are strange, of course, so it won't come as a surprise that this one regards pitch-obscuring smoke and hefty balloons bouncing on the turf – during the match – as preposterous expressions of enthusiasm. Sing, dance, chant, and cheer all you want, but this other folderol makes no sense in a professional sporting event.

Just don't mention guns in restaurants

Is this demand part of the tariff discussions?

Legia have been fined heavily by Uefa for that, same as Palace will be by the FA. Flares/Pryo's look great but are ILLEGAL in stadia in the UK. End of.

Being the darlings of the FA/EPL, I bet the bin dippers don't get fined for taking flares in last Saturday.

The really funny thing though is that Everton fans sold them blue ones disguised as red
