How much money do we take for our key players if they dont want to sign a new deal. my Guess

Wharton 4 1/2 years left 100m
Lacroix 4 1/2 " " 80m
Hendersen 3 1/2 " " 60m
Eze 1 1/2 " · 40m
Guehi " " " " " 40m
Mateta " " " " " 40m
Muñoz " " " " " 30m
Mitchell(possibly 1 1/2 " 20m

With only Clyne, Schlupp and Ward off the contract, Lets hope at least 2 of the 5, with 1 1/2 years left sign new long term deals

First team players near the end of their contracts.
  • This Season (June 30, 2025): Clyne, Schlupp, Mitchell, Hughes.
  • Next Season (June 30, 2026): Guéhi, Doucouré, Édouard, Ward, Henderson

Yeah, and Wharton 100million 🤣🤣 he’s very good but that’s ridiculous.
No, disagree, with over 4 years on his contract left, he will break the 100m Man City paid for Grealish, and he isn't very good, but outstanding for a player so young.

I don't think anyone would pay it right now, but I agree that I can't see Parish accepting much below 100m for Wharton. Why would he? It's been clear from day one he's going to be going to the very top. I think your price for Henderson is a stretch. He's proven to be a great shot stopper, but he still can't use his feet. If someone offered 30-40m (which I can't see btw) then I think the club would seriously consider it. 40m is probably Eze's market value based on this season, but I can't see Parish taking that; 50+ and he might consider it if Eze were to agitate for a move. We paid 30m for Nketiah, so if we took 40m for JP then I think serious questions would need to be asked. I think it would need to be north of 60m for the club to even turn on their phone. I agree with the other valuations, although I couldn't see anyone offering 80m for Lacroix.

If we had to lose two of these then for me it would be Mitchell and Guehi, although the latter is only really because it's obvious he wants to move to a bigger club. I actually think the harder question might be if you could only keep two, who would they be? I really struggle to choose. Wharton is probably the best footballer, but you can't help but love JP and Munoz while Eze when he's on fire is a joy to watch. Lacroix has really grown on me too.

Many of these contract lengths are incorrect.

Eze, Mateta (with 1 year extension), Munoz and i think Mitchell are all until summer of 2027, only Guehi is summer 2026.

For a CPFC player i think £50m is pretty much the top end of the range, unless the player is exceptional and a really big club come in (e.g. not Spurs). Wharton would fit this profile.

With his injury issues this year i don't think anyone will come in for Wharton just yet as surely he needs an extended period of playing and performing well.

It appears the only one who will definitely go this summer is Guehi due to his contract situation. If we can get £50m it's decent business for a player with only 12 months left.

Mateta is also getting interest. Not sure where the papers came up with a £40m valuation for him. On paper that seems reasonable but as proved on Saturday he is key to the team and the formation so must be worth a lot more to us. For me i'd be disappointed if we didn't hold out for nearer £60m as a replacement will be difficult and expensive to buy.

Indeed, absolutely ludicrous. If we are going to loose him with 2 years on the contract its going to be well north of that. Which IMO keeps him at Palace this Summer (unless Arsenal comes in for Watkins, and they have money to spend).

Also agree on Wharton and extended time playing needed. However if he has an amazing run in, someone might want to get ahead of the pack (as we did).

If feels like if we have a good end to the season, it might convince some of these lads that its worth extending.

Agree with Lanzo on that.

This is especially as the only clubs in the world who can afford that sort of price are the very clubs who (if rumours are to be believed) are competing for his signature.
