Have a look at the current form thread. We are 2nd behind only Liverpool. We can absolutely go on a run and push up the league. However, I would sell my Mrs and all my worldly possessions to win the FA cup. 🙏🏼

How could anyone come up with the idea of giving away all worldly possessions for an FA cup win! 😱

The difference I suppose is we are playing some clubs with somethin to play for. It ain't all beach wear.

Actually, we could be said to have been more on the beach than most of the teams we beat during that run in last season. Liverpool, Newcastle and Man U definitely had European places to compete for and I don't expect West Ham and Villa went into their games being comfortable having 5 put past them

Indeed.

I tend to think that we are (give or take a place or 2) about where we'll finish.

But as you said, the harder run, gives us more of a chance to reel them in.

Either way, I just hope we give it a bloody good go!

Exactly. If we were near the bottom three you'd hate to see that fixture list but we're safe so it's an opportunity.

Also, I'd fancy us to beat anybody on current form. Last season we showed we can do it and none of those teams have been as consistent as us.

Even the Scousers on the final day could be winnable as they'll have well wrapped up the league by then.
