Given the poor home form(albeit unlucky against blue bin dippers ) maybe a change to 4 4 2 at home might be worth a try Current system for away games is awesome but a bit of tweaking at home could pay dividends No idea on personnel for this system mind you

I think we’ve seen OG won’t change formation. He would say the system is working overall. Also not that easy to change.

I don't think we need to. I realise the stats say otherwise, but looking at the Everton game as an example, we didn't play badly we just need to take our opportunities and try to bring our solid defence to Selhurst. Part of that is that higher possession we have at home meaning we play further up the pitch so the defensive role changes from one that is a blocking 'wall' to one that is about tracking spaces and runners, which we are obviously not as adept at. but looking at the stats side by side, shots (and on target) pass accuracy are all very similar.

xG also tells a story -
vs Everton(1.58) @ home we rated 2.05 xG
vs Fulham(1.1) @ away we rated 1.33 xG

Just need to start taking chances. Tactics are working, even at home.

100% agree.

Most games are fine margins. Everton is a prime example, poor finishing on our side, and they scored the 2 chances we gifted them.

That being said, there is a clear gulf between home and away results, so we need to try to find a solution.

Don't think there's much we can change...

.... Chilly for home games, Tyrick for away games. Can't really think of other changes.

Hopefully, Villa will press us leaving space behind
