The BBC are streaming everything live, other than ironically, Kneecap who champion freedom of speech and the Irish language. They have no editorial control over what the artists say or do.

Bob Vylan was being deliberately provocative because of the whole Kneecap debacle and because that bit right before their set would go out live.

Very much crossed all sorts of lines, but it needs context.

Well the BBC should have editorial control, shouldn’t they? It’s on their channel. They didn’t have to show it, aren’t Kneecap on the iplayer? What about this then? Put this into context with those imprisoned last summer for allegedly
encouraging violence. Wonder if arrests will be made?

With regard to those numbnuts, bearing in mind the reason one has recently appeared in Court, personally I feel they should not have been allowed to perform at all. Glastonbury really let itself down this year.

Actually I think Glastonbury really does sum up this country now. White middle class liberals paying s*** loads of money to sing-a-long with people who hate them!

With the issue about the BBC not so much about what it shows or does not (and it should have the guts to show it ALL) but rather why the f*** are they using the licence fee to effectively give not only free publicity to clearly people who hate the average licence fee payer but giving publicity to a private event tha? Its just free advertising really.
