Help with a list

Surely not the same Clive Allen that run the whole length of the Loftus Road pitch whilst sticking two fingers up at massed palace end ( after he had just scored the late winner in a fa cup quarterfinal tie).
Which kicked off the worst football violence I have witnessed at a Palace game (over 50 years following.)
And I was also at Coventry- the goal that never was !!
Bitter and twisted still Yes, dont get me started with Ian wright.

Favourite player- Has to be Vince Hilaire, never moaned about the world, just got on with it. Top bloke.
Yes i dislike QPR solely for that reason having been there. Not sure about the worst violence i have seen, true wasnt good when the horses came on but the end of season match when Birmingham came onto the pitch when the away fans had a corner next to the Arthur Wait when standing and also the corner of the AW where the seats were was pretty explosive!!

Jerry Murphy, interesting one. Get the feeling he's more famous for teams other than us. Definitely a top player, but I'm thinking he's Chelsea hall of fame. Or some such.

Not sure about that. I may be wrong, but I don't think his time at Chelsea went all that well. Whereas I absolutely thought the world of him when he was at Palace.

Peter Nicholas, on the other hand, went on to carve out a highly successful career elsewhere. But I'd still include him in our Hall of Fame too.

Just had a look into it and didn't realise he made 229 appearances for us. He was certainly a good player. Only 30-40 for Chelsea so you're right
