Hayden Hackney

If Kamada does indeed sign a new deal and Wharton isn't for sale this window or has told the club he wants to stay another year), then I agree. Also, this may explain why we've dropped our interest in Hackney. I suspect we have limited funds available this window unless we sell someone.
Doubt we dropped it. He chose elsewhere, as with a number of players -good and bad - too long a list to cite.

I'm with Patrick i think he will be a success. He reminds me of Paul Gasgoigne and i don't think it was a coincidence that Middlesborough poor run of form at the end of the season happened when Hackney was out injured. Let's hope the recruitment team can unearth a similar gem before the start of the season.
Have grave doubts our current recruitment team would recognize a gem if it was handed to them on a plate so-to-speak.

I never get players signing for Everton. I don't remember them ever doing anything in my entire life.
It's like going to a fancy restaurant and ordering a slice of white bread.
At various points I've liked their team. Ancelotti's side were decent, as was Koeman's, Martinez's, and the tail end of the First Moyes' Era was good too.

All of that is way in the past now though, and even those sides never achieved anything, other than finishing above the Red Scouse a couple of times, who weren't firing on all cylinders.

Apart from that, they've delivered up a load of dross as a club. So I have to agree with you, it's strange how they attract certain players still at times.
