Has everybody seen this?

It’s a long watch but an insight into Parish and his thinking. He comes across as articulate, highly intelligent, a smart businessman, but above all someone who cares deeply about our football club and the South London community. In a world where our club could be run by people who want an expensive hobby, sports washing Saudis, or snake oil salesmen we are lucky to have him. When he finally goes he will leave the club in a much better place than he found it for sure and with the new stand built and who knows maybe some silverware in the trophy cabinet.

I've managed to finish watching this morning - mainly because it's wet and windy outside and, to coin a phrase from Thomas Crown, I had nothing else to do on a Sunday morning.

It reinforced my view that Mr Parish is one of the best football chairmen there are, and those who think otherwise don't understand the complexities or the variety of skills required for the job. He always comes across as a bloke who is highly competent and is an absolutely perfect fit for our club. He has a clear vision and demonstrates an enthusiasm to achieve it.

All in all it was an interesting chat with Peter McCormack, who I confess I knew nothing about. So, the guy is into Bitcoin and that part of the conversation was illuminating to say the least. As chairman of Bedford FC, which he amusingly renamed Real Bedford he has much in common with Mr P.

Indeed. A good guy who has the clubs best interests at heart. All the haters need to do is look around the leagues and see how much worse we could have it
