Greatest ever player.

and the best keeper (and bravest in the era where they got no protection):
John Jackson
I’m an old bugger but just missed JJ playing for us, Paul Hammond had taken over by the time I jumped on the good ship cpfc. I did see him(Jackson) play against us for Orient and I do remember it being quite sad for those older than me that loved him

Palace's greatest ever player by a country mile (albeit only 2 years with us) is Michael Olise. No one else is that close.
Budgie byrne . Don rogers . Peter Taylor .Martin Hinshelwood . Lombardo . Steve Kemper . to name but a few better than Olise

John Jackson was just before my time As second generation Irish in the early seventies Pat jennings was revered. You would see his picture in many a Catholic Church social club across London.
Personally I think Wilfred did so much for us and was fo many seasons the most gifted player. Olise is one of the best players in the world and we were lucky to have seen him grace our pitch.
