God has left the building

Over the past year we have lost from the squad Joel Ward, Eze, Guehi, Lacroix, and now Munoz, all members of what the press were calling 'Christian Palace'. (Even though Daniel did look a bit diabolical with that beard....) That only leaves the Club Chaplain, who's lost a lot of pace, and ironically, is bad on crosses.
I'm not making any profound point - just an observation!

Quinten Timber’s brother is head of the God Squad at Arsenal, so we’ll see.

Xavier Gozo is a Mormon, so incredibly god-bothering.

Tyrick was active in the previous 'God Squad', and is an outspoken practicing Christian.

Jaydee is a practicing Christian, as are Lerma, Nketiah, Mateta, Kamada, Richards, França, and Timber.

Riad is a practicing Muslim, as are Sarr, Khalaili, and Doucouré.

That is the vast majority of our club, and none of the remaining members of the club have actually stated atheism or irreligion, they just haven't spoken publicly about religion.

I would say the 'God Squad' is alive and well at Selhurst Park.
