Seriously, why would Glasner want to stay?

The only possible reason would be if he lacked better offers – more money or greater prestige or more generous backing from ownership or a location closer to home & family. Surely other clubs can offer some or several of these enticements. Yes, he might remain out of loyalty to club or players, but then why would he have told Parish last fall that he was leaving?

We just have to hope Parish and his colleagues have their arses in gear and get us a good replacement and back him or her with some financial clout to replace whichever players bugger off.
