Glasner Out

Our under 18s just put four on Newcastle at their place without reply in the F. A. Youth Cup. Some stars in the making for sure. Yes, of course it's some distance from doing it in the Premiership, but I'd feel these boys were more 'Palace' than these big time Charlies who think they are too good for us (that includes Glasner). Time to promote the U.18 coach too.
Interesting to see Drakes-Thomas couldn't make it off the bench in this game either

The one point that does emerge is that Glasner cannot realistically be involved in the rest of our transfer dealings ( if any).

He's in no position to persuade players to stay/extend when he himself is leaving in a few months.
He's also in no position to encourage players to join when he's going.

One publication suggests we are looking at a 'short term' replacement for Guehi which makes sense in the context of what a future manager may require and what system he may employ.
No point on splashing out on an expensive centre back who is not required by a new manager.
The loan market looks to be the best options for this window.

He’s got to go.

We are now firmly in the relegation picture and desperately need points.

We can all debate if OG was backed, whether Parish is at fault etc etc. It’s all irrelevant now. What is relevant is that OG can’t get this group of players performing. We are the worst team in the division. There is no belief in the players and OG is a lame duck now.

We have to change something and that means OG needs to go.

I would get rid right now but I said after Macclesfield I thought the board would wait until the Brighton game and if we were still on a losing run they’d have to act. That’s still what I see playing out.

Glasner has to go this week - has lost the players & today’s substitutions were laughable.
Definitely not McCarthy to take over please. But then that would be great for Mr Parish, cheap & would guarantee a return to his beloved Championship.

Until Canvots ridiculous pass we were in that. Mateta was shocking too. I think we might actually need a new manager bounce at this point. Incredible after the 20 match unbeaten run earlier in the season. I saw the lineup today and thought we might not actually miss Guehi. How wrong I was. Lacroix must have nightmares with Richards and Canvot either side of him.

For me OG has to go NOW, I think he has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous in a short space of time.
I thank him for the two trophy victories, as a club we have FAILED to build on this IMO.
I have no idea who is to blame, but we need stability and quickly and keeping OG to me is not a good idea. He is now the root of our problem after not handling the dispute at all well.
