He's not treacherous. He saw out his contract and gave notice to Palace that he would not be signing a new one. We could have released him in the autumn but Parish chose to keep him and no doubt feels justified when he looks at the trophy cabinet.

I am disappointed that he joined Forest but if a worker at Sainsbury's joins Waitrose would you call them a traitor?

Or, if a worker at Waitrose joins Budgen.....

I saw it . Basically said everything he said when he joined us .Good group of players , need a few additions ,everyone is working hard ,I enjoyed my time at my last club ect ect .

The guy more or less keeps his cards close to his chest and he has found the recipe for improving teams results which is why he is in demand .

I would have like to see him at a club in the CL just out of curiosity to see if his management translates to the better players that are at their peak but he seems to enjoy making average teams better rather sustaining any success which is probably why he only stays at clubs for a couple of seasons ,takes them as far as he can then does one .

But our ex manager has gone , the king is dead long live the king and all that , maybe these threads should be moved to football talk as he has nothing to do with us anymore
