Or a waistcoat manufacturer....He is for anyone with shares in Kleenex.
Opting out doesn't seem to make it any better. May as well stay in for the expenses and mileage allowance.Member of the Royal family.
Southgate would absolutely go there. He would use it as a platform for telling us all how we should think and act. And he'd try and reconcile the rift between Linekar and the BBC. A healer all round.Sky tonight were talking about the possibility of Southgate getting the Man U job and dismissed it - Why would he want to go there? It's a poison chalice, it's too much pressure, who needs it?
Then virtually appointed Glasner.
If it takes OG out of the equation he can take his soapbox, megaphone and moral superiority to Manchester and stay there forever.Southgate would absolutely go there. Except for with the fans who'll rightly think he's sh1t from day one.
It would be wondrous for us all and so many other fans. But poor for the millions who buy the odd away shirt, comment on line and have certainly never been to Old Trafford or Manchester. Likely an uptake in City and Arsenal shirt sales. Depending on demographics. If it takes OG out of the equation he can take his soapbox, megaphone and moral superiority to Manchester and stay there forever.
That's a trade with which I am more than willing to engage. It would be wondrous for us all and so many other fans. Glasner said himself at the time, I have made a commitment to Crystal Palace. What is that then if its not turning them down? No, Glasner did not turn down Bayern.
Parish turned Bayern down and Glasner accepted that. Just like Olise didn’t turn down Chelsea.
The key is Oli does not like starting jobs during a season in his own words. He has done it only once and that was because Hodgson was unwell.
We are safe until summer no matter what click bait says. Beyond that is the a matter of praying the club convince him to stay by having a good season and backing him in Jan if possible
Why dont you go and join their fans then? You seem to have a bit of a crush.Entitled fans yes because of their global appeal but those fans in the stadium support their managers. I’ve had my issues with Utd over the years but post Ferguson they have impressed me by getting behind all their coaches in spite of how far they have fallen
Palace put a crazy fee to Bayern for Glasner. Not sure what he said. Off the top of my head it was 86 mil or something.Glasner said himself at the time, I have made a commitment to Crystal Palace. What is that then if its not turning them down?
Glasner turned down Bayern. They did not move on to Kompany until it was certain that Glasner would not take the job.
Not a bad call.Southgate would absolutely go there. He would use it as a platform for telling us all how we should think and act. And he'd try and reconcile the rift between Linekar and the BBC. A healer all round.

Wow, Thats an incredibly childish comment to make on a public forum. Why dont you go and join their fans then? You seem to have a bit of a crush.
They are a badly run club and their stadium is falling apart yet they want the tax payer to build them a new one. They have average players on ridiculous wages and (according to Ratcliffe) they have no money to pay any unnecessary staff any more, yet they continue to find ridiculous amounts of money for more average players.
This is exactly my understanding as well. His family are still in Germany or moved back to Austria and Bayern are a monster so I can understand why he might have been tempted. Thankfully the club pushed back and the rest is iconic history for our clubPalace put a crazy fee to Bayern for Glasner. Not sure what he said. Off the top of my head it was 86 mil or something.
Glasner managed two teams in the Bundesliga (Germany), Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. Wolfsburg with, if I remember correctly, with Schmadtke as the sportsdirector (do not know about tje english term for that. It is somehow the link between coach and the upper management). In Wolfsburg he got sacked because of very heavy disputes between Schmadtke and himself, so it was told. OG was behind the ensurement of getting a good squad, Schmadtke said no.This is exactly my understanding as well. The big concern nowadays are the media trying to sell him the idea of so called bigger premier league clubs. Hopefully he sees what a shambles Man Utd now are.Glasner managed two teams in the Bundesliga (Germany), Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht Frankfurt sfter winning the Europe league, I don't have any further information. There surely was something big running in the background, but I would not be surprised when it was something about the squad.
When it comes to squad related decisions, OG is a, or can be, a beast. Which is good.
Conclusio: never ever would OG decide to choose to go to Bayern, where you get shot to the moon because of just not pooping and wiping in the right way. And OG knows about that ejection seats in the german Bundesliga.
Better than ejection seat in Germany,
Is an erection seat with harmony. (=crystal palace)
Sky today were going on about Eddie Howe going to Man U so maybe they've had enough of us for a while. The big concern nowadays are the media trying to sell him the idea of so called bigger premier league clubs. Hopefully he sees what a shambles Man Utd now are.
I’d heard similar to you about his fall outs with owners. Hopefully we can win him over with success on the field and a good forward plan off the field
He will need to take his boots with him!Sky today were going on about Eddie Howe going to Man U so maybe they've had enough of us for a while.
I don’t think Glasner will be affected by the media to be honest, he’s too smart for that. The big concern nowadays are the media trying to sell him the idea of so called bigger premier league clubs. Hopefully he sees what a shambles Man Utd now are.
