What's next the Falklands?
Before I get too excited this is a matter for the people of Gibraltar. If they are fine with this arrangement then so be it.

Tend to agree, they need thousands of people from Spain everyday for the pace to functionBefore I get too excited this is a matter for the people of Gibraltar. If they are fine with this arrangement then so be it.
If they are not and have been sidelined by the EU, Spain and the UK then that is a shameful betrayal.
I hardly dare say this but there has been discussions over the Falklands for a while now. Not a joke.

This as far as i've seen as about speeding up custom points ,nothing to do with sovereignty. Perhaps providing a little proof would help.White flags are flying over all the UK territories. Even the mainland.
This is simply about ease of travel,to gain power again you should join Reform.Yet another Labour sell-out of our country.
😡
A key 'sticking point' for the last government was to NOT allow Spanish or EU border guards to check our passports on sovereign British soil. This is simply about ease of travel,to gain power again you should join Reform.

The UK has had sovereignty over Gibraltar since 1713.i think it rather stretches the definition of 'our country' somewhat. A colonial outpost maybe ? an overseas possession or a Crown dependency possibly ? Can you name any great Gibraltar families akin to those from medieval Kent, Sussex and Northampton ?
there are probably more Brits living in Benidorm, Calais, or Tuscany.
Apart from being a Naval Base on a rock, with a ton of bars, restaurants and presumably hooeers , what else is Gibraltar ?
Don't forget Lanzarote 😎i think it rather stretches the definition of 'our country' somewhat. A colonial outpost maybe ? an overseas possession or a Crown dependency possibly ? Can you name any great Gibraltar families akin to those from medieval Kent, Sussex and Northampton ?

I would be reluctant to side with the Spanish and their grievances ( colonial imperial hooeers themselves...owning Ceuta ) ...... but its hard to make much sense of British Gibraltar these days.
so its full of 99% white Brits called Nigel & Sharon ? 100% English speaking & Church of England ? Not exactly the same as many towns in England then ?The UK has had sovereignty over Gibraltar since 1713.
It is a BRITISH Overseas Territory.
Back in the mists of time when my wife and I used to frequent 'Puerto Del Carmen' we did hear of many Britons living on the island.Don't forget Lanzarote 😎
Pfft, 'Gib' is a youngster compared to my home, Bermuda, since 1618 we have been British, apart from 1942-1945 when some other colonials wanted to 'borrow' the islands for summat that was happening. The UK has had sovereignty over Gibraltar since 1713.

Nice try PV, unfortunately in 1170 there was no one 'British' the Isles that made up the land mass that eventually became the 'British Isles' was a mish mash of areas ruled by different Kings & by that date the Norman's had arrived.sorry Eagles, i have a Royal Flush here......Ireland 1170, Battle of Baginbun.....the Brits using the sneaky tactic of charging a herd of cattle into the fray. I have always said British women had an edge to them. Its probably cos our first introduction to them was via Alice of Abergavenney.
Gibraltar....... do i care ?

The Anglo-Norman invasion of Ireland had its share of bloody moments, but perhaps none so macabre as the Battle of Baginbun Head and the actions of Alice of Abergavenny.
