Actually he was asked about that and was quick to point out that it's not true, he sorts out the attack and that changes everything.

This is easily fixed, you have to be tighter on.them, in their faces, stop backing off

They've not needed to create anything, they're a poor team that hasn't helped and we're making it easy

Wow shocking defence against a not great Fulham. I think it is lack of system or formation. We have felt for ages that all of our defenders knew their job and were well drilled. That seems to not be the case now. Hopefully, that can still happen. We will learn a lot about Sage in next few weeks.

Trying to be positive and we can still get something here. Next goal crucial.

Defensively so fragile.
Richards and Canvot again look too easy to beat. Timber looks decent but not holding his CM role as well as Kamada would and leaving Wharton alone to defend which isn't good as Wharton isn't good at that side of his game. There's more goals in this. Unfortunately for both sides though.
Defense changes needed sooner than later.

Also, whenever their winger is on the ball he's allowed a 1v1 to attack the fullback. This is an absolute no in this league, doubling up is compulsory

If we have five defenders and two dms then how are we so easy to score against? Our tactics and organisation are not right for this game. We would have been far niggling and hassling Fulham - who we all know have a propensity to leak goals.
Instead, we're doing the leaking with Hollywood passes and shots not helping. We should have, at the very least, held on til half time.
Personally, I'd make changes. I think Sage will. Somebody running the left along with Mitchell would cause these problems. Mitchell has been able to get down the line a lot. A slow Andersen often has to cover. Frankly, I'd want Guessand there, but how about we put the new guy on?

Its not lack of system or formation, its selling 2 of your best defenders we've had in a generation and not replacing them.

Saw this as a game to show what we are about after the first two games which were a guaranteed loss against Everton and tough game against city.

So open and it’s just like pinball in midfield at the moment.

When we get them into the left corner they just switch it to their left side and have a run into our penalty area.

Would be fair enough - but we've conceded two already. That's what needs to change. Whilst 5-4 wins would be exciting, it's probably not sustainable to rely on them.

Would be okay if Richard’s had support on the right side. Both our WB’s are too far forward so that when we lose the ball our 3 man defence are in trouble. Sage is playing our WB’s further forward than Glasner or they aren’t as good as last season at getting back? Doesn’t help not having Lacroix as well. Much weaker 11 this season and it’s showing. Not sure why Wharton looking poor though? Kamada unlucky with his goal but Fulham look more dangerous than us with two poor defences for which we are also poorer in taking our chances. Hopefully second half there’s some tweaks and we do better in defending and attacking?
