On my way back from the game.
We were chasing shadows in the first half but Fulham weren't ruthless enough.

We did play deeper, but I wasn't sure whether that was deliberate tactics or because Fulham pinned us in.

Nketiah took his one chance well.

In the last 20 minutes we created more chances with subs Pino and McNeil looking sharp.

Richards had possibly his best game of the season and Hughes did well.
Not a game for Osorio who was physically brushed aside , even if he looked to be fouled on occasions.

Hughes didn't get booked and played 90mins whats that all about . It was palace of old stop them scoring and get one yourself when least expected

I’m still in a ‘we’ll probably be fortunate enough to avoid relegation, but this season is going to be sh!t’ kinda mentality.

A cup would be glorious.

5 wins in 6 at the cottage

The last time we lost at the Cottage was on New Years Day 2005! Mind you the last time we beat them at Selhurst was in Feb 2019, the season we did the double over them 2-0. Since then we've had 3 draws and 2 defeats against them at Selhurst.

Well we haven't won a cup for - months - so the League Cup would make a nice addition !

We'll have them in the league at their place a few days later. I'm assuming we'll play the QF in the only free week that the two teams have this side of Christmas so probably on Wednesday 16th December (we have Manure on the Sunday before and then Sunderland on the following Sunday).
