A game between two quite closely mtched sides which could go any way; I think it will be another draw like so many recent fixtures between the two. Probably 1:1

We are making progress as a team but I feel we are still behind Fulham, Brentford and certainly Brighton in terms of development as a club. Accepted, we won 1-3 at Brighton and that was very sweet. But this was against a team that is still above us in the table despite having sold £210m worth of talent to Chelsea alone (three players). That would be like us losing Guehi, Wharton, Eze.

Why Fulham and Brentford are above us in the table I cannot fathom. Interested to hear some thoughts on this.

1-1 or 2-2 tomorrow, maybe? But the winning run away from home may well come to a halt.

In Brentford’s case because they won 6 points off us in two tight games, the second of which we didn’t show up in. I’d argue Brentford and us are pretty even in terms of squad. They probably have slightly better attacking options, we probably have better defensive ones.

In Fulham’s case it’s pretty simple. They are just a better squad. Their first eleven is probably better than ours but certainly they have more squad depth than we do.

A share of the spoils would be a creditable result but I fear Fulham will be too good on the day.

I think most will be happy with a draw.
