We’ll have to watch their impressive youngster Josh King making late runs in behind our work in progress defence.
Can’t see us keeping a clean sheet so I’m going for 1-1.

I was there in 74 as guest of Hammersmith hospital radio , I was 15 at the time and was asked how did I feel about the result , all I said was I was very happy a great result but we have do it again on Tuesday against them at home , they was the easter fixtures we lost 2-0 at home , we needed to beat them twice to have a chance of staying up , sad but happy memories 😍👍🏻

I was there for both games. How Palace was that? Win well away then lose at home to the same team two or three days later.

I seem to remember exchanging waves with Paul Hammond (our goalkeeper) as the team got onto the coach after the game.

I feel like we will get there and I am hopeful of a point today.

Key matters are where the goals will come from and how quick the defence will gel with disasi. Are we playing a high line that Fulham will expose.

We have some exciting new players and only time will tell. There is certainly a strong 11 there when all are available. Bravely going for a 1-1

Getting to the point where we need something from a game like this. I have to be optimistic as Fulham have not started well either, I would love us to take the win but I’m going for a 1-1 draw with my actual prediction.

We know we’ll probably get a chance or two early on, we’ve just got to put one away, I know it’s easy sitting in the stands, but we miss early chances so often it’s unreal
 
Whilst most of us didn't expect to get much, if anything, from our first two games, there is now a hope/expectation that we can show our credentials against Fulham. I do hope we can put in a decent performance, and if, perish the thought, we did lose, it wouldn't be because of a totally inept showing.

I'm not expecting wholesale changes to the starting line-up from our last game, and I would expect quite a bit of tinkering in the next few games ( particularly against Boro in the League Cup) as Sage tries to assess the new players, and who might complement who, and might warrant consideration as a possible starter in future matches.

Prediction 1-1.

Talk of tinkering and assessing the squad approaching the third game of the season on zero points shows excellent preparedness for what is to come.

Well pre season I rashly predicted we would only get two points from our first five games - so far so bad - so this might be were we get our first (1-1) leaving us another two games to get the second !
