Fulham Predictions.

I have already predicted 2-1 to Fulham.
I shall also predict that supporters will have a grumble about our lacklustre performance borne out of a lack of energy.
Palace supporters grumbling? Are you being serious? My word, your forecasts are becoming more and more outlandish.😀

they'll play us off the park but we'll snatch a 1-1 draw. Anyone remember Easter '74 when Peter Taylor went rampant up there and we were 3-0 up at half time. Finished 3-1 cos they grabbed a consolation from their centre half, can't remember his name ... Bobby something, someone jog my memory.😉

Really depends on the recovery sessions.
I’m thinking our guys are not over pushing it at training only on set pieces defending & free kick takin.

1st half 0 - 2 Palace (JP & Kamada )

2nd half 2-2 Fulham ( Smith Rowe )

2nd half we sadly resort to sit back, wait for them to come.

73rd min subs come on

I used to know, but I can't remember anymore

Hopefully Mateta takes some time on game day morning for some Tai Chi, and some Chai Tea to really get himself in the zone and start converting chances again.
If we can actually score goals from the opportunities we create then this should be an authoritative win.

I feel we would closer to the top if that had transpired in most of our matches. That would be both leagues !

Well we just about managed to crawl off the pitch at Turf Moor and we will crawl on the pitch at Craven Cottage! We look absolutely f***ed, Adam had his worst game in a Palace shirt on Wednesday and couldn’t pick a pass all night.

I can’t see beyond a 2-0 to Fulham, what a perfect time to be playing us….

They are lightweight and not that good. However, we have clearly regressed despite posters thinking our last three performances were fine. They weren't.
It now makes it hard to call. I'll say this: play like we did against Burnley and we'll lose without scoring. Maybe by two or three.
Play how we were a few weeks ago and we'll win easily.
One saving grace for us. Fulham are not good at set pieces.
I suppose, taking both options into account - a draw seems likely. 1-1 or even 2-2 if our poor defending rears its head again.

Memories.

Buoyed, we turned up at Selhurst on Easter Monday thinking we would make it a win double.

Bobby Moore had other ideas, he had done his homework on Palace, result 0-2 and we were suiitably deflated.

Often think of Bobby in that game in particular those precise chipped crosses.

😎

If Fulham go for it (like they did against City after going 5-1 down), then I cant see us coming away with anything. However, if it's more of tactical game, then we might sneak a draw.

Any points from tomorrow would be welcome, because we aren't going to get anything against City the following weekend.

the return game rates as one of the worst performances I've seen in watching Palace for over half a century - there was a 0-3 at home to Coventry in '81 which cud have been 0-15, it was like England v Iceland, a collective nervous breakdown - I wasn't there for 0-4 v Sc***horpe

1-1, Palace’s goal in the first half from one of the centre backs, Fulham equalising in the second half. They’ll finish stronger but not have the quality.
