He's injured again, meaning he's yet to have a proper pre season with us with his continual injuries.
It may seem harsh to write him off, but since joining he must have been injured 75% of the time and usually with a variety of injuries.
If we're looking for cover for the 3 attacking roles I'm not sure it would be wise to rely on Franca providing it.

The amount of fanfare on the club website when he joined is now looking even more embarrassing.

Make them earn their wages doing something else. Selling bottles of water with no lids in the upper Holmesdale for example. If you're getting paid thousands a week you're gonna work for us doing something.

Doucoure was player of the year so I think he was fit when we signed him. The worry is the medical staff returning him and Riad to fitness after initial injuries only to suffer more bad ones.
Ferguson and França - at least Ferguson was free to begin with though the wages stacked up. I think the HF put more thought into França's song than the medical team did during their due diligence on his physical capability to make it as a professional athlete.
