Forest Predictions.

I think I am like you, I still care but it is getting hard to watch these games. I think I am actually getting myself prepared for the Championship next year as that is a definite possibility that seems more likely each week. This game will probably be our usual recent pattern; a decent 20-30 minutes then a collapse and a dreadful second half. I would love to be proven wrong but I do not see how that is going to happen.
Sad but true.
The entire Squads confidence must be shattered knowing that their Manager doesn't want to be here and is off in May,if not sooner and Boom and Bust wants to become one of the Merry Men of Nottingham!!

If we only win this match and West Ham for the rest of the season we will likely be safe.

Burnley and Wolves is extra points.

The odds are 8-1 of relegation.

Having supported the team for 60+ years there is one truism which raises its ugly face when things aren't going well, ie luck will inevitably go against you. Whether it's dodgy penalty calls (Chelsea), injuries to key players or fluke deflections, they conspire to create a dispiriting sense of fatalism in players minds. Unfortunately I am not privy to the (I hope) negotiations going on behind the scenes to get some decent new faces in.

As to the game I expect NF to come out the traps at warp speed which, hopefully, should suit OG's counter attacking tactics. I fear we are still carrying a few passengers, but with less (perceived) fan pressure away from home then maybe we can surprise all the pundits and keep the Samaritans phone lines free for more deserving cases.

It’s ironic that after all the UEFA nonsense with Marinakis and Textor we find ourselves playing them in what could be our most important game of the season. Win and we can stop worrying about relegation, lose and we’re in the mire. Just a few weeks ago I was thinking we might have the double pleasure of qualifying for Europe and seeing Forest relegated. I suppose it’s still possible if we go on a run and Forest get overtaken by Spam but it’s a long shot. Anyway I’m hoping for a 1-0 win this weekend.

I fear utter humiliation, but hope for a draw, or a sneaky, undeserved, ref mistake goal for a 1-0 victory and a good watch of Dyche's after match comments.

We are all hoping for a win but this would be a very surprising result in the circumstances.
We are in total 'Freefall' and to my mind even a draw is unlikely.

They play in Europe days before, they are below us and not particularly good, and we are away so the onus is on them which should suit our game. But... we have to be up for it - no slow start, dawdling play, and make it last for 90 minutes, not 60. A draw would be welcome, because wins follow after confidence has been restored. Another loss is untenable.

Hopefully they have a hard game tonight and pick up a couple of knocks.

Surely in the script for Sunday there has to be a Johnson winner. Or JP, and smashes their corner flag to bits and then flicks fatty the Vs

They play in Europe on Thursday so might be tired. That's about as positive as I can get.

A positive performance and result is desperately needed. No idea if that'll come but I'm sure it'll be a nervy watch!
Unfortunately, in the past such hopes of our opposition carrying tired legs from a European game, and therefore giving us an advantage, have rarely materialised

The Angel on my Right shoulder says that we showed signs of recovery vs chelsea, and are due a win.
The devil on my Left shoulder says that they Are 3 points behind, and with the animosity between the 2 clubs over the last 12 months, they could be well up for continuing our misery.

so it'll be 0-0.
