You may have read my post on the bbc thread. I was approached recently by 2 people interviewing for BBC London news. They asked me if I felt threatened by the flags up on lampposts. Wtf? Then they asked me if I was patriotic. I told them we’re the only country ashamed and embarrassed of our flag, culture, identity and history. I listed France, Spain, Portugal, Holland, parts of Africa and the Middle East who were also taking part in colonialism and slavery. They didn’t know what to say apart from she is half Irish. My answer was I’m similar and we need immigration due to the low birth rate, bad government support for child care and housing management but not at this level. They were desperate to interview me on camera so I told them I’d think about it while I did my business after telling them all their colleagues wouldn’t like what I say or agree with me. I didn’t allow them to interview and edit me. If I was with someone I would have got them to record me and show on twitter their methods. Another group I detest.
 
How many people know the right way to fly the union jack ? Flags of the individual nations making our union are easy enough. Even the idiots in Cornwall Council who want independence know how to flag the flag of Cornwall.

Well since you mention it's a jack then the correct way is from the mast, but that means any flag from the mast. The union flag however can be flown anywhere, the thick part of the white saltire in the lower quadrant to the pole.

Which idiots are these then?

There are 87 Councillors on the Council and I don’t believe any of them seek independence!

3 are from Mebyon Kernow, the same number as from the Greens. They seek greater autonomy and local responsibility, especially over preserving the local culture and language. Nothing too idiotic in believing in devolution!

That's not the full story though is it?
In July 2025, Cornwall Council passed a motion to ask the UK government to recognize Cornwall as a "fifth UK nation," with 53 councillors voting in favor, 22 against, and two abstaining.

You on the Left bemoan Nationalism yet support it when it is in the guise of Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish and Palestinian nationalism.

Some of them try to disguise it but it's just racism against white men and a slightly less extent women (but only because they tend to be more compliant and often among their own ranks in higher numbers), and especially if they are working class.....because classism is also definitely a part of this.

It's the sometimes taught consequence (from the universities and now mainstream schools) and sometime just ethnic resentment that is encouraged that eminates from WW2 (though for the proper hardcore commies it's before).

They hate us and want us under the thumb in our own country and nations, fully disenfranchised and a lot of them would just prefer us gone.

The only whites left would be fully bought and sold allies to their ideology.....self hating ideological slaves doing white uncle tom impressions.
