dad was a gooner, but loved footy so much he also watched the Os, norwich & west ham.
trialist with orient but suffered bad machine shop accident to foot & arm.

George scoring to beat the scouse was one of my earlier big football impressions.
Dads family moved around a lot & for a time lived right near highbury.
By rights I should be a gunner (but for the grace of god 😎)
 
Zidane.

To this day I have never seen anybody else play football the way he did and it just struck a chord with me in terms of 'that's as brilliant a player as you'll ever get'.

Out of nothing more than small minded bitterness, after my Wife adorned our home with her artwork, I got a couple Palace bits to hang up as well as a black and white canvas of Zizou 🤣
