Finally, my luck is changing for the better

Location

Country

Having a tough couple of weeks. A friend died two days ago, the car died yesterday leaving me stranded in Mid Wales. got no money to get the car fixed.

But my luck has changed for the better ! Just this morning i got this wonderful email. I've done all the stuff this amazing guy has requested, so just waiting for a courier next week, and I'll be living a life of luxury.

"I am Mr. Obaro Odeghe, Director of the Foreign Remittance Department at First City Monument Bank. I am contacting you based on a recent meeting held with the Office of the Presidency, Federal Republic of Nigeria, in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Senate Committee on Budget and Planning, National Assembly.

After the meeting, it was agreed to pay James Lee for his overdue contract payment of five million United States dollars only {US$5,000,000.00} out of his long and complicated outstanding payment. Unfortunately, Mr. Lee died in a motor accident, so I am approaching you as his next of kin.

Given the circumstances that brought forth this opportunity, I am willing and prepared to use my position to have this sum released to you either in cash, delivered to any address of your choice, on the condition that it shall be shared 50/50% between us.

I have the means to complete this transaction within a maximum of 7 banking days, without any risks or complications. To initiate the process, I need your formal consent by providing the following information, should you choose secured cash delivery to your address: -

Your full name:
Private telephone number:
Choice of address (where you wish the consignment delivered):

God is with us as we wait for your reply.

Yours faithfully,
Mr. Obaro Odeghe"

I know his family lovely people always asking after my mother, they even know her maiden name and my first school and the name of my first pet.

No sign of the courier yet. I've emailed the Nigerian guy, but he hasn't got back to me yet.

I really need that money now, as it seems my bank account is empty, and I've got bills to pay.

all the ATM machines in Croydon, another wonderful place to have good luck. So many helpful people standing nearby for a friendly chat and a helping hand. Night or Day.

We used to have those as well. They were so helpful they'd put a chalk mark on your back so their friends could also assist you when you left the main drag. Nice to see London is still so welcoming.

Well, if you can send me the 20 grand I paid him, you can keep them.
Give me your credit card number, the three digit security code, expiry date and pin number and I'll put the money in. It'll be there by Monday. Don't worry if the balance changes in the meantime. I just have to do a couple of transactions to activate the transfer. They'll appear separately as large ticket items from good reputable retailers. Will be a max of maybe thirty odd transactions whilst I fulfill the account. None of that Shein rubbish or anything like that.

This is a weird one because it doesn’t seem he’s asking for anything that ‘private’ (yet). Anyone care to enlighten me?
