Dave Prowse used to live in Addiscombe, and i used to see him all the time picking his kids up from Ashburton High school. He was easily 19ft tall and spoke like a carrot cruncher.

He had Polio as a kid. We used to know Dave and his family quite well back when I was a lad before he was Darth Vader.
He was a strongman/bodybuilder and used to promote the Bullworker in his earlier days as well as acting.
