3. Ken Livingston........."I am a proud South London boy with close ties to the local area. The fact i cannot remember the name of the Stadium where Crystal Palace play is irrelevant. Now good day to you sir"

"I did not have sex with that woman". Bill Clinton

"We have proof of weapons of mass destruction" Tony Blair

"I am a clean rider" Lance Armstrong

Iain Dowie……..I’m paraphrasing, but “I’d like to leave and take a job closer to my family home in Bolton Mr Jordan”

And tops up at that good old northern town of Charlton

Neil Ruddock……..fit as a fiddle Mr Jordan, it’s all muscle and I’ll give my all for the club

Carl Asaba……I’ve always supported Palace and dreamt of one day playing for the club, but I’m going to sign for Sheffield United instead

It would be a long list of people in the public eye, celebrities, politicians, etc.

I am referring to the OP's comment "cast a long shadow"

Today lying is no longer considered an offence or even a social disgrace. It's seems the public are okay with lying on their CV's, committing perjury "my truth" protecting my family etc.

I find it rather sad that the "truth" is in the eye of the beholder. It's no one person but a long list of public figures and I guess the public now think sauce for the goose...

Gone are the days when a guilty party, exposed, went off to their study to clean their revolver. They are more likely to get their own reality TV show.

We can add whoever decided to name that particular genre "Reality shows".

"We're all in this together"

except for the parties on taxpayers money.
And the Government advisor in this crisis who "went for a drive with my family to test my eyesight,....."
