Greatness = wealth and/or fame or other success.

1. Madonna......not a serious musician ? Get a session musician to write the tunes and an assistant to help her read the musical score. And some other talented fecker to actually play the instruments. And try to not fv.ck up any live performances, again.

2. Marconi.......the real brains was Mr Tesla

3. Sid Vicious.......utterly talentless. Both on and off stage.

4. Jimmy Savile.......Terry Wogan commented upon him being utterly devoid of talent. And certainly i cannot ever remember a funny joke from the Nonce.

what others ?

If the heart of The Beatles was Lennon & McCartney, then the heart of Monty Python was Cleese & Jones. However Michael Palin & Eric Idle did pen some good material additionally. And the animations of Terry Gilliam were ground breaking.

Graham Chapman, however, meh.....mostly drunk....he belongs in this thread as much as any other passengers you care to mention.

I always rated Adolf Hitler as a bit of a "doer". I mean he got things done. Encouraged the youth movement, increased industrialisation and encouraged a strong work ethic with his labour camps.
He tended to get a bad press in the UK with a lot of coverage given to killing Jews and gypsies and invading other countries.
He gave Germany their engineering expertise and made sure things ran on time.

Most artists. Its more about 'getting the nod from the establishment' than it ever was about 'selling & popularity with Joe Public'. A case in point :

- Banksy....the Renegade Rebel who is actually lock-step in unison with Keir's Liberal Left agenda.

- The Mona Lisa......is it really that much better than 10,000 other portraits available ?

- Jackson Pollock/Andy Warhol/Mark Rothko..........any young fool, at art school, could produce an effort to rival their 'genius'. In fact, even including a number of feckers who never bothered going to Art School.

I'd take any of them over that fraud Basquiat. The most untalented dauber ever to mishandle a paintbrush.
