Just recalled a story about Alfred Hitchcock during the filming of Lifeboat in 1944

Apparently the lead Lady in that film Tallulah Bankhead was well known for not wearing underwear and exposed herself to the other actors when climbing into the boat .

When there was a compliant about her flashing Hitchcock was said to have replied

"I dont know if this is a matter for costume , make up or hairdressing "

Considering that Christianity appears to have been stolen from pagan sun worship; then I perhaps have little faith that this Jesus character even existed.

Around 30 years ago I spent a lot of time at the Buddhist centre in Croydon. I can tell you that they did not get at all hang up over whether the Buddha existed or not. Christians on the other hand do not like that question generally.

my own belief is that a) yes he did really exist b) he was just another Cult-leader, like the tens of thousands of others the World has seen, not even a very big cult leader ...only 12 followers. c) the power of Martyrdom & good written-marketing (and monoTheism) is never to be underestimated d) the stories written about him are not necessarily the full story. His angry rage against the MoneyLenders is probably a good glimpse.

Consider David Koresh/Jim Jones/Ban ki Moon/Charles Manson/Opus Dei..... if you want to understand about Cult leaders.

I love big Ron,

Such a shame his reputation got tainted by an unfortunate private comment, that got aired to millions.

Ian Wright was on a game show not long after, spouting how he could tell people many more Ron Atkinson stories. Wright loves to tell tales out of school.

Everyone has said dodgy and insulting things about people, we just hope they don't get broadcasted to millions.

Big Ron should probably have not bothered going on tv to show how he's apologetic.

You can't win. People just wanted to take out all their anger on him.
