How crass 😀I don't like a flat back four,so i'd says my eleven would be the Crystals.

I liked that the remit of this was favourite players because I didn't have to assess which players I thought were best (and get lambasted for poor choices) I have a few favourites over the years that wouldn't make the top 100 Palace players but they can make my team here. It's hard to leave Speroni out of favourites. Henderson and Martyn might be arguably better goalkeepers but Speroni was player of the year a few times. He was the main reason we didn't concede loads more for several seasons. But also just such a favourite. Which I can see Henderson becoming quite rapidly. Seems a bit of a character with the ability to back it up. And where are Cannon and Ninja? Come on.
How could you leave out Aki with that use name? 🙂Only been supporting for 10 years so quite a recent list from me.

We had better CDs than Gilbert and Cannon by the tail end of the 80s.I couldn't evaluate players across seveal decades, so I thought I'd have a go at a team combined from the 1970s and 1980s' players. That gave me two big problems.
First, which one out of Evans and Gilbert plays alongside Cannon in central defence?
Secondly, as they both did their best work starting on the right (although, of course, they also wandered elsewhere), which one out of Rogers and Taylor plays? You're not allowed to say 'both'. And I appreciate that some people won't agree with me rating both of them above Hilaire, but there you go.
Thoughts?

Peter Taylor was magic, carried us like Zaha did, though we went up from the old third the season after he left, but he inspired one of the great cup runs in '76, he was as good a player as he was as bad as a manager thoughWe had better CDs than Gilbert and Cannon by the tail end of the 80s.
Never saw Rogers, Taylor or Evans play so can't comment

Big Mal for me, my first manager and through shear personality and force of nature he put us on the footballing map despite not being that great on the pitch apart from the cup runif you're talking favourites rather than the best who would you have as manager then?
Big Mal, Warnock, Doogie?
