Loved Mabbutt, especially as it was at a time when we were signing some rubbish, as you say it was gutting he got injured. When you think of the other strikers we signed in that early mid 80’s period, Langley, Jones, Brown, McCulloch, Mahoney, Aylott, Kevin Mabbutt was the best by a mile

That's fair enough though. No point in picking players on hearsay or everyone would have Peter Simpson up front.

For the first time since the 90’s, I’ve felt the need to change mine, no one’s been worthy until now, sorry to Doris Hinshelwood god rest his soul, always been my favourite, but I’m replacing him with Munoz. I know Munoz wouldn’t be quite as effective in a flat back four, but we won’t complicate things 😀
