Famous Movies You've Never See

Films I have watched at least 3 times:
Leon
Cool hand luke
Most Clint Eastwood westerns
Once apon a time in the west
It’s a Mad, mad world
School for scoundrels
Life of Brian
An inspector calls
Daisy does Dallas

Which was the Hannibal film where he left Ray Liotta with a head like an opened boiled egg? That one jumped the shark by a long way.
Ridley Scott never disappoints.

everybody raves about 'Casablanca'........i finally saw it recently. Utter tosh. A chick flick.....with all the pathos and acting of Eastenders.

Which prompts me to a serious question.....why is Eastenders so cardboard ? i reckon they could put Robert DeNiro, Al Pachino & Anthony Hopkins into it and it would still be utter shyte.....something to do with their business model ?

Boycott Tim Burton. All his movies are shyte.

A Second World War2 film on a zero budget by Powell and Pressburger "A Canterbury Tale" absolutely riveting.I have seen this many a time in awe.

I thought the same recently. I think it's a combination of average scriptwriting and ever diminishing new storylines. The rehashing of old characters is fairly sterile at this point.

The mid nineties with the De Marcos vs the Mitchells, David Wicks, Steve Owen and so on were great. There was a lot of comedy but compelling storytelling rolled into one.

Tell Grok it's repeated a bunch of films in that list. Jazz Singer appears 3 times! Must be bloody good. I've never heard of it. Can't trust AI to do anything these days.
The first full length talking picture. Never seen it but a hundred year old Al Jolson film wouldn't make many folk change their plans for the evening.

10 best films ever made
Road to Perdition
Meet Joe Black
The Godfather 1 & 2
Good Will Hunting
Tombstone
12 Angry Men
Papillon (the original)
Outlaw Josey Wales
Shindler's List
Radiers of the Losr Ark

These are the 1st that come to mind but sure there are many more

Forgot to add movies I've not seen
Gone with the wind
Taxi Driver
Steetcat named Desire
Sound of Music
Breakfast at Tiffineys's
Wizard of Oz
Sure there are many more my brain has blanked out

I've seen the Steetcat named Desire.

Terrible movie.

Lots of meowing, cats fighting and then getting it on for two hours.

I wanted to furball afterwards.

Seeing cats with Italian accents and wearing white vests is interesting though.
