Bit presumptuous but after yesterdays display against the Villans.... if we win the FA Cup where will we parade after..

Cant remember if we did anything post ZDS 1991 win despite being there.

The Final will be much harder than the Villa game. They were poor.
City are finding their form and have a squad of top quality players.

Will Haaland be available? I hope not. Either way, it will be an incredible achievement if we beat them.

We’ve done the incredible already 😉
No. We have won nothing.

It's time to stop being the nearly men and actually win a trophy. We can grow as a club from that.

I won't be satisfied with another gallant cup run. Been there, done that. The time for something extraordinary is in three weeks. That is what it will take.

If we can reproduce the performance from Saturday we will be in with a good chance. Big IF of course = but OG seems to be able to work minor miracles - so why not an even bigger one on May 17th !

From a Gooner's perspective:

1987, league cup final vs that great LFC team when we hadn't won anything that decade. LFC had never lost when Rush scored which he duly did. We came from behind and won 2-1.

1988, league cup final against Luton. This was our centenary year, we were ahead in the league and it was mostly the team that would win the title the following season. We were favourite this time. And duly lost.

1990 - having won the league, we're on a come down. LFC have a point to prove and duly win the league. Should have won the double but lost the semi final 4-3 to Crystal someone or other.

1995 - I was travelling then, so not following football really. But was back in London for a week when it was cup final. Manu-Everton. Everyone knew ManU would win and I'm not a betting man but when I walked past a bookies on my way to my mates, it said Everton 12/5. I thought "Almost 2.5-1? For a final? Anything can happen. Those are far too generous odds. If I had a spare fiver, I'd stick it on." Toffees beat the {original not newbie nouveau riche} Manc scum.

2017 - Chavs were Champions and Wenger was losing the plot to such an extent that Bayern beat us 10-2 on aggregate. With Welbeck leading the line and Rob Holding - who we'd signed off the team being relegated from what used to be Div 2 - as one of the back three, we won 2-1 denying those financially doped west London scum the double.

2020 - Arteta's first season, club in crisis. Beat City 2-0 in the semis. In the final we have to play the Chav team who'd win the CL next year. We had Rob Holding again, loanee Dani Ceballos, Ainsley Maitland Niles, Chav reject Luiz and Nicholas "Did you miss out the decimal point when you paid £72m for the donkey?" Pepe. We won 2-1.

By Gad, sir, we're British. Being the underdog suits us, what, what?

{Btw, always loved Rob Holding. The fact that he has two English trophy winner's medals and Kane has ....?}
