FA Cup semi final

On the train up from Whitstable and absolutely buzzing. Weather seems perfect. Should be a fantastic day, hopefully with a win included.

On a negative note I have to take my 5 year old son to a bowling party at 10am tomorrow morning with a presumably raging hangover. I'm more nervous about that then the game.

Feeling really nervous today - 7th FA Cup semi with Palace I’ve gone to (including the 1995 replay… not quite old enough for the 1872 one) - feeling like I’m running out of time to see the Eagles lift the Cup… but when I started support Palace in the early 70s never thought I’d have gone to Wembley as often as I have.

Travelling down from the Midlands, so will have to endure the Villa fans on the way down, but hope to be surrounded by their gloom on the way home!

COYP!

Yeah, I've been to all of them apart from 1976 (I was only 3!). I only want to see 2 trophies lifted in my lifetime; one for Palace and one for England... although if I had to pick it would be Palace all the way!

I feel your pain on the train - when I lived in Finchley I came down from London Bridge with the away fans most weeks. You'd think Millwall or one of the Birmingham sides (remember 1988/9!!) would be the worst but it was actually Norwich. Unbelievable Jeff.

Villa in '88 chucking coins and seats(!) at us in the Arthur Waite was terrifying (as was the Birmingham pile into our end the next year) but then I was only a kid... hopefully they're much more civilised on your train...

Valid! 😆

Aiming to be there from 3 for a few pre-game sharpeners and no last-minute rush on the tube!

I just want to give a shout out to our Australian member from Melbourne, Palace_Guard who has travelled over night from Kyiv(Ukraine) via Poland to be at today's game & as he posted on FB half hour ago, he is in the Nag's Head Covent Garden on his tod, awaiting the masses. Well done Ross!
We have a winner! That's a cracking effort. He shouldn't have to buy any beers IMO

Puts coming from Bath into perspective!!

Safe journey to all that are going , wish i could be there , but will be in sunny Oswestry showing the locals what being Palace is , im nervous already bust into song when on the way todo shopping , so im ready COYP have waited long enough , no heartbreak no dramas the best fans in the world to escort the cup home

Good luck for today fellow eagles and i hope all that are going have a great day out with safe travels. wish I could have been there! Getting nervous now!

Day started well as villa mate and his son going down to Wembley Got them a big shout on our national radio and played my request for them “Glad all over” First goal massive today and hope its scorer boots the corner flag .Palace since 1964 so COYP

Football treads a fine line between fun and stress on days like this.

We've all experienced the highs and lows. We are won 2 lost 3 in FA Cup semis. We need this one.
