FA Cup Semi Final Tickets - tickets on sale 10th April

I'm a season ticket holder and have just logged in to be told there are 24077 people ahead of me... how exactly?? Fvck's sake. Last time you just logged in and picked your seat - as it should be!

Now it says I have to wait for over an hour...

But how can that many people be ahead of me?! Don't we only have 18k ST holders, some of which would have bought their tickets yesterday??

Yes same here - presume a bunch of Gold Members also in the queue..

Ah, I see. 'Gold' members. Seems a bit harsh that a Season Ticket Holder has to go in with any kind of member - no disrespect to the 'Gold' members, but shouldn't ST holders be before any members??
 
I'm through the queue and I'm getting the "This event is not available to you" message - and I paid for my gold membership at the start of the season, and bought a ticket last year so have sale history. Anybody else experiencing the same problem? Tried ringing the helpline but - surprise surprise, it's busy...
 
I’m a gold member (for many years) and it won’t let me buy tickets… I got to the front of the queue - it then threw me out and now says I’m not eligible. As you say no way there are 27,000 eligible people to buy tickets.

I am also having this problem mate, have had a gold membership for years and regularly go to games so not sure why that's happening. Phone line also busy for me, you'd think they'd have a queue system for the phones

Right so it's not just me then...! I assume some ticketmaster screwup
 
Well I've rejoined the queue with a different browser, once I'm through the queue again we'll see if it changes anything...not optimistic though.

Is there some central contract that requires every PL club to use TicketMaster? Given the problems I've had with the tickets website this season I'd be firing them as a supplier...
 
As long as they correct the priority, with 35,000ish tickets there are more than enough tickets available for the combined number of season ticket holders and gold members. The frustration is that we’ll end up with a poor choice of seats if they don’t get it sorted before the next phase. I agree they should have had a separate phase for one day for season ticket holders before gold members… even though I have over 7,000 points.

Totally agree ST holders should be first, I don't expect to be ahead of them in the queue. But as you say, loads of tickets, I'm ready to spend - how hard is this to get right...!

YES I'm in now - go back to the ticket selection page and "Buy Tickets", and it should let you in now.

Phew!
 
Wow a bit fraught that. I had trouble assigning the tickets then had the wrong age and every other box to tick foundation and accepting terms I panicked and got timed out. Got straight back in and calmly made the selection and all sorted. Phew
