Far too many of this group are getting under the impression that they're bigger than the club without delivering any recent evidence of it and it is spreading through them like a virus.

I'm always very cynical about losing to minnows. How much did we want to win?
The problem was we got drawn against the lowest ranked team in a competition we could do without.

Three more wins in the league and the Conference Cup is all we need worry about. Winning that would be massive, and this day will be forgotten by everyone except Macclesfield and the BBC.

We’re going to have to endure the constant reminders of this embarrassment until Macclesfield are knocked out.

Definitely a low point.

Ollie Shouldn’t have tinkered with the team so much (Sosa isn’t even good enough for Macclesfield’s reserves) But, maybe Glasner isn’t the messiah after all.

Tough one to get over this one.

This is why people are so annoyed the players looked like they couldn't be arsed.

Guehi was just launching long balls all the time to nobody not showing any leadership what so ever.

You got other players like Wharton who didn't look like they wanted to be there.

Sutton Utd ( Conference League) knocked out Coventry City (Old First Division and reigning FA Cup champions) in 1988, 2-1. I suppose it’s whether the old 5th division was classed as non league or not.

Biggest FA Cup shock in history, we are still history makers, the Crystal Palace FC I know and love are so back baby 😍😍😍

If it was a one off or a freak result I’d agree, but it isn’t. We’ve been in alarming form for some time. This season we’ve struggled against so called “smaller” teams than us. Truth is this was a continuation of a pattern rather than an aberration.

We simply have no ideas when a team gives us the ball and plays us on the break. OG has shown he is tactically clueless in these scenarios. His teams are set up to play without the ball and he cannot adapt.

I’ve also said before we are a soft touch and look like we aren’t up for a physical competition. Without Munoz and some times Hughes we lack players with competitive edge for professional footballers. Not vey PC but frankly our players need to man the hell up.

We all know that we didn’t strengthen the team enough but once the summer window closes you have to work with what you have.
It is then up to the manager to utilise the squad as best he can. I agree that this is limited in terms of quality but even our u21 should have been able to win today with the right effort and attitude.
What is so f***ing boring is that whenever we have a sh!t result like today people bang on about Parish and the board.

Well, in fairness, losing to Newcastle away, Man City or Leeds away is a bit different from losing to Macclesfield. Yes, we have been limited without Sarr and Munoz, along with Mateta being out of sorts, and that is the difference between winning and losing.

We need to sort out set play defending and improve our own set plays. Our corners and free kicks have been rubbish lately. I was surprised Pino scored a free kick today. The only positive.

I'm sorry, why should we move on after this embarrassing result? Are you actually a Palace fan?

Anyone with a brain would know the squad needed fresh players for the Euro campaign and so many fixtures. The buck stops at the top.
