Worst Palace performance I’ve ever watched. Utter utter shambles. Both Glasner and Guehi meet to come out and show they’re committed to end of season, win Conf cup, if not, then this will be disastrous season

Begs the question how Macclesfield Fc with the positive mindset and skill levels as displayed would cope against several Conference League teams.
 
It does feel Glasner is starting to become a little bit Roy 2.0

Can't break down sides
Play on the break
Rely on individual brilliance
Back 5 against lower league opposition
Welded to the same formation.

We really do struggle against sides who sit off of us -

Fair play to Macclesfield though - to a man they were brilliant. That for them today was what we enjoyed last May - I hope they thoroughly enjoy it tonight.

No It wont complete over reaction you must have seen our games in the 70's and 80's. The main thing is the league, cups are nice to win but our league position is what counts.

Use your brain just take a look at the lacking bench that is a big issue yet people still keep ignoring the manager has not been backed and next look at the performance that is all on the players.

The lacking bench where he brought on a premier league left back, midfielder and an international who has combined transfer fees of £80m? That lacking bench?

If tactics don’t matter then how come Macclesfield were clearly prepared for ours and had their own ones worked out to counter them. How come we changed ours at halftime? If they don’t matter then why bother?

Sorry this game is all one everyone involved in the first team. Manager, players and coaches.
 
Having been a Palace supporter for 60 years that was the most gutless,pathetic display I have ever witness. No fight, no quality, no desire to win.
If Manure want OG they can have him,if he can't pick and motivate a team to win that game then I think he is passed his sell by date

Well done Macclesfield you fully deserved to win.
 
Steve can argue there's no need to invest in January now as there's no danger of fixture congestion having gone out of 2 competitions in recent weeks!
And that could become 3 competitions in February if we display the same level of performance as today and indeed in many of the performances in the Conference League.
In fact it could be more of a case of lack of match sharpness as not enough games!
