FA Cup 3rd Round Macclesfield

We took a chance and played reserve and young players always a risk. Should have started with the experienced players and then substituted them. WE are not the first and will not be the last to suffer this way.
We weren’t any better with the first teamers on. In fact the worst period of the match was the first 25 minutes of the second half. Something very clearly wrong in the culture of the team right now

Ideas:

They wanted to lose, were instructed to lose, but had to make it look like Macclesfield were plucky opposition who were just too good on the day.

Glasner is an arrogant mug who has had his moment and whose one party trick doesn't work any more.

It's a conspiracy - we were allowed to win the FA Cup last season.

When I saw the line-up I suspected that it would be a long hard day. Congratulations to Macclesfield, fully deserved.
There's nothing this set of players and manager can say to excuse this performance.

Glasner will not say that he can't fault the effort. The pitch will be the excuse by tomorrow.

We're going into the history books for the wrong reasons.
From the sublime of last season to the ridiculousness of this season.
Parish looks white with shock.
That's something like 9 games without a win and team spirit is slowly unravelling.
Sublime to the ridiculous seems to be in the club's nature over the years but that was an epic horror show. Can't think that the club will fall any lower than today on the pitch.

What happened to good old wide players in a 4-4-3 or the like ?
Playing two No 10s either side of a striker and relying on wing-backs for width when one is not adept at getting forward and these players can get in a position where they are part of a back 5.
Today, absolutely no threat from out wide, every cross was headed out by a Macclesfield player.
This will go down as one of the worst results in our history. 😡 😡

This is too absurd to take seriously ! Well we were never going to win the FA Cup again -or probably the League Cup - so now we can concentrate on our outside chance of winning the Europe Conference and trying to finish top 10 in the PL. Things could be worse ask the Spammers !
They're laughing today; everybody is. Even Charlton. Whoever they are.

Does anyone want to buy my 2025 Cup Winners watch? I think I'll be to embarrassed to wear it out now.

Pathetic performance. All I can say is - well done Macclesfield, you deserved it.
Its the stars realigning Old geezer . We put the cosmos into a spin when we won the FA Cup last year and it hasn't recovered . It took a first step today ,get back in your place Palace . We have seen the best days of our lives as Palace fans ,this confirmed it .

Macclesfield were incredible , they have touched the magic we know all to well and yes they deserved it .

To think a couple of hours ago I was giving the Mrs the hurry up in town for taking too long doing her shopping , had to get a cab back to make KO . Maybe I should have just gone to the pub

I'll have what you're having.

Great post though....far better than the performance.

After the Lord Mayors Show, comes the greatest ever FA Cup upset.

The above sums up our madly brilliant and infuriating club.
